Lake Manitoba Resort August Update
Hello, Lake Manitoba Resort community!
Summer finally arrived in July and carried right through the month of August, bringing beautiful weather and perfect conditions for golf and outdoor activities. The resort was buzzing with excitement and energy as we hosted two incredible tournaments this past month.
The His and Her's Tournament, sponsored by Jeff and Sherie from Gateway Real Estate, was a fantastic event that brought couples together for a fun and competitive day on the greens. The camaraderie and sportsmanship were truly inspiring, and we couldn't have asked for better weather or a more enthusiastic group of participants. Thank you to Jeff and Sherie for your generous sponsorship and support!
Following that, we held the highly anticipated Million Dollar Par 3 Challenge, sponsored by Métis N4 Construction. This event was sold out and packed with excitement, with golfers competing for a shot at the big prize. The highlight of the day came when Barry Chartand achieved the incredible feat of a hole-in-one, netting a stunning $30,000! Congratulations, Barry! Your achievement will be remembered for years to come, and we're thrilled to have been a part of this unforgettable moment.
As we head into the fall season, this coming Labour Day weekend marks the start of the end of the golf season. To celebrate, we're excited to announce a special promotion for the weekend starting Saturday and ending on Monday: every green fee will be entered into a draw for a $300 gift card and 4 rounds of golf with 2 carts. Plus, all apparel in the pro shop will be 50% off, and golf balls and shoes are reduced to sell. It's the perfect time to pick up some new gear and enjoy a fantastic round of golf!
After the long weekend, there is still plenty of time to come out and enjoy the course. Starting September 3rd, every Monday to Thursday, until the end of the season, all green fees, including a cart, will be $30. The course is in superb condition, and the greens have been talked about all year, so don't miss out on this great deal.
We are also excited to announce that memberships are now available for next season. Any new membership gets to play the rest of this season along with the 2025 season. For our existing members, each membership renewal before October 15th will be entered into a draw for a $500 gift card. It's a fantastic way to secure your spot at Lake Manitoba Resort for another great year of golf.
Lastly, we want to give a HUGE shout-out to all the staff for putting in a great effort this season. Chef Dustin and his team have been delighting us with fantastic dishes, and Vaness and her clubhouse team have provided amazing service with smiles all around. The pro shop team of Kurt, Kristen, Elizabeth, and Austin continue to welcome everyone warmly before their rounds. And let's not forget our dedicated grounds crew, Ben, John, and Ed, who have kept the course in spectacular shape. We are already planning a few changes on the course for next year as we always strive to improve.
